The 49-day period of counting the Omer is a time of reflection and renewal. Stretching from Passover to Shavuot, this season encourages awareness of the interconnection of all life and helps us discern how we can act well for the benefit of all.
Now in its 9th year, this retreat offers opportunities for reflection and renewal, connection and solitude. Our days, held by silence, include meditation, embodied prayer, teachings and guidance for practice. We hike and sit by canyon streams and gather each afternoon for shared reflection. The spiritual qualities of the Omer and the wisdom of the desert shapes our time together.
Prior experience with mindfulness meditation is expected. The retreat includes easy to moderate level hiking through red rock canyons.
