Morning Meditation Sit 2018-04-12
We sit today into the 12th day of the Omer, Hod sh’b Gevurah—Presence within Strength. On this 12th day we sit with our strength and fragility, our vigor and our vulnerabilities, and we practice noticing whatever arises with non-judgmental awareness.
We remind ourselves that the Sacred Presence fills and shines through all life and we are all here to offer ourselves, beautiful and imperfect, to each other and the world.
As Leonard Cohen sings:
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.
We close the sit with gratitude and an intention for the day.
The Mystery is high upon the earth and the strength of love prevails for all who turn toward awe. —Psalm 103:11
