Rabbi Yael begins each Sit with a teaching drawn from Jewish text or inspired by the cycle of Jewish time, and it lasts for a half-hour. The Sit ends with a closing teaching or prayer. Meditating in silent companionship supports regular practice and helps participants to direct their hearts and the work of their hands.
