Shabbat Sukkot

As we move into Shabbat Sukkot may we set an intention to create shelters of peace with our words and actions. 

May we turn away from rhetoric that calls us to mistrust and condemn each other and may we stand firm in our insistence not to be swayed by fear and hate.

May we gather strength from each other and from the beauty of this country and this planet and direct our hearts, our words and our hands in ways that spread over all beings shelters of love, connection and peace.
