We Fashion the World

As the book of Exodus comes to a close,
It teaches that it is up to all of us
To continue the work of creation.
With our hands, our hearts, our words
And our actions
We fashion the world
For each other and for all those who will follow.
Keep the sacred at the center, the tradition calls,
And remember that
The world is built on loving kindness.
(Psalm 89:3)
