Iyar Week 4: Lag B'Omer
Today, Lag b’Omer, the 33rd day of the Omer, calls us to pause, look around and take note of the Omer journey:
It is a day to wonder about what we have discovered, experienced and learned these past weeks.
It is a day to acknowledge those who have been our companions and guides.
It is a day to reflect on the passage of time and be attentive to what we do with this precious gift.
It is traditional to honor Lag b’Omer with music and celebration, food and dance.
May we pause in gratitude today, noticing the presence of the Mystery within all.
May we take time to engage in something that brings joy and honors the preciousness of time.
And as we turn from this day and continue on our travels may we hear the Mystery call:
Take notice I send angels before you,
To guard you on your way and bring you to the place I have prepared.
(Exodus 23:20)
Love and blessings to all.
