Carried by the Waters of Life

Spring up from the well, waters of life. We sing to waters, to the Source of all.
—Numbers 21:17

The waters of life are in constant motion.
Everything passes, changes, becomes something else.

Sometimes we can discern reason.
Sometimes the movement makes sense.
Other times, all that occurs is beyond understanding,
And any attempt at explanation feels futile and wrong.

Let us be gentle as we seek meaning and reason,
Remembering there is so much we will never know.

The waters of life are in constant motion,
And as they carry us through the pain and joys, the tragedies and celebrations,
May their songs guide and soothe our souls.
