Love and Bravery: Gevurah
Let’s take a moment and let ourselves be held,
Held by love that is unbound,
Love that is always,
Love that doesn’t wait for us to be ready,
Love that embraces and lifts us all.
I am here, wherever you are, Shechina calls,
I am here in love.
From this place, we step into the week of Gevurah
Which brings
Strength, Restraint, Judgment, Discernment.
Gevurah can help us set boundaries,
Acknowledge limits,
It can inspire discipline and devotion to practice.
It is helpful in Gevurah
To remember the limitations of our humanness,
To remember we are not the center,
We are not in control,
We are part of the Great Mystery,
The Infinite Unfolding.
In Gevurah,
A stance of humility brings strength
And bravery rises from asking for help
And watching for guidance.
As we enter the week of Gevurah,
Let us bow to Mystery
And rise into the posture of
A spiritual warrior
Who abides and acts
With devotion, dedication and love.
