The Shofar Calls

Dear Friends,

Psalm 27 leaves us one the threshold of the New Year with a mighty call:

Hope into the Unfolding Mystery
Let your Hearts be Strong and Filled with Courage
Hope into the Unfolding Mystery

I can feel my soul cry,
Hope? Now? You have got to be kidding.
And the call comes back—This is not a request,
It is a command,
A command from the very source of creation.

See the good in the lands of life
And walk toward a vision of the world healed and redeemed
With all your heart, soul and strength.
