Welcoming a Mighty Spirit

Dear Friends,

This Shabbat we welcome the new month of Adar, which is the final month of the Jewish calendar.

Tradition teaches that Adar brings a mighty ruach (spirit) that turns realities upside down and causes worlds to shift.

Yeshuah, a mighty, wild force of transformation blows through Adar, opening up realms of possibilities that have long been hidden.

As we enter Adar
May we be surprised by joy
And invigorated by wonder.
May the mighty winds of transformation
Open pathways that have not yet been seen.
And may we rise,
Courageous and bold,
Together lifting up this promise from the psalmist:

Justice seekers will rejoice
They will celebrate in the presence of the One
They will be filled with delight and jubilation.
Psalm 68:4

May it be so.
