Cosmic Mending

As the book of Exodus draws to a close

The work of creating the Mishkan, the sacred Dwelling of the Divine,

Comes to rest.

The Mishkan has been fashioned with gifts of generosity and awe

And the awareness that what we have to offer is enough.

The kavod hashem, the Glory of the Infinite, fills the Mishkan

And calls to all the people:

Pause. Stop. Rest. Be,
This will keep the soul alive and ground and direct all your actions.

Be aware of your choices, honor your gifts, make your offerings,

For it is your task to weave the sacred into this world.

Practice discernment,

Acknowledge confusion and watch for clarity.

Be patient as they arise and pass.

And be open to guidance,

For this life will continue to challenge and surprise you

And there will always be signs helping you find your way.
