With this gift, we might consider how much news we take in each day and how this information affects our bodies and minds.

Gevurah teaches us to view boundaries and structures as holy vessels that can help hold, create and bring awareness to the sacred.

Using Gevurah energy, we might engage in a practice to pause before our first drink in the morning and give thanks.

Gevurah asks us to acknowledge the Mystery, to allow uncertainty, to practice not knowing.

See the world with eyes of awe, Gevurah teaches, and let yourself be strengthened. Gevurah cautions us to not be swift to judgment—even as we feel “so right.”

It asks that we find strength in humility, at the same time we stand strong for what we believe. May the energy of Gevurah guide us well.
