New Offerings
Dear Friends,
It took some time for me to discover what to offer during this autumn season and I am very excited about what I finally came to. Both these offerings will be online, via Zoom.
We will begin with a four-week Class to explore the mystery we call “God.”
Guided by Jewish mystical tradition, we will delve into teachings, images and experiences of “God." I feel so held and encouraged by my evolving relationship with the Divine Mystery. And my hope is that we can help each other seek and find possibilities for relationship and connection. The deep aim of the class is for each of us to discover a sense of “God” that will guide us in standing strong, steady and loving in these times.

The second offering is a Sunday Retreat Day focused on the teachings and mysteries of the Burning Bush. We offered a Burning Bush retreat 2 years ago, (it was the last retreat we did in person).
We return to the Burning Bush this year to help us turn aside from habitual ways of thinking and seeing the world. We return to the Burning Bush to pause and listen and to feel the Mystery alive within us and all life. We stand at the burning bush, practicing responding Hineni, here I am, open, awake and present to the calls and wonders of life.
Our experiences together on this day will also help us prepare for the coming winter and the creative and mysterious offerings of this new season.

I look forward to these opportunities for exploration and discovery. May our time together be for the healing and well-being of each of us and all the world.
Shalom,
Rabbi Yael
This Week's Audio Teachings
In this week’s Torah portion, Vayera, Avraham sat at the opening of the tent in the heat of the day. From this opening he lifted his eyes and saw that God, the Infinite Presence, is within all life. The Infinite Presence is within love, turmoil, devastation and pain. The Infinite Presence is in promise, hope and possibilities not yet imagined. We sit together at the opening of each moment and practice noticing whatever arises with non-judgmental awareness and curiosity. Listen to the recording of today's Meditation Sit with Rabbi Yael Levy on Soundcloud or on theA Way In website. Listen to the recording of this week's Torah Study with an expanded teaching on Vayera on theA Way In website or on Soundcloud.
