In Sarah's Tent

Dear Friends,

This week, let’s turn the prism of Torah and sit in the tent of Sarah.

As we bow our heads and enter,

A glowing radiance welcomes us.

Amid this soft light that vibrates with presence

We take our seats.

The earth yields and offers an embrace.

Breathing deeply, we notice the sensation of ancestors,

Women whose names we do not know

But whose lives helped fashion us 

Are here.

With gentle care they ask:

What are the prayers upon your heart?

Who do you long to be?

What do you seek?

And in response to our cries, our whispers, our terror

They offer support.

We will help you.

Call on us.

We are here.

May the sacred light of the ancient mothers hold and guide us.
