As the book of Exodus draws to a close
The work of creating the Mishkan, the sacred Dwelling of the Divine,
Comes to rest.

The Mishkan has been fashioned with gifts of awe and generosity
And the awareness that what we have to offer is enough.

The kavod hashem, the Glory of the Infinite, fills the Mishkan
And calls:

Pause. Stop. Rest. Be,

This will keep your soul vibrant and in connection to all.

Practice discernment,

Acknowledge confusion and watch for clarity.

Be patient as clouds shift and pass.

Honor your gifts. Make your offerings,

It is your task to weave the sacred into the world.

Be open to guidance,

As life continues to challenge and surprise you,

There will always be signs helping you find your way.May our journeys be for blessing and peace.

A prayer for Rosh Chodesh as we welcome Adar Shani, the second month of Adar:

May, yeshuah, the force of expansive possibility
That comes on the winds of Adar
Lift and carry us.

May courageous determination rise in power and glory
Wiping away with ease, all who wish to destroy.
May eyes be clear and hearts be willing
So possibilities
Not yet seen,
And yet ever present
Reveal pathways to healing and peace.

Shalom,
Rabbi Yael Levy
