Lag b'Omer

Today, Lag b’Omer, the 33rd day of the Omer, calls us to pause and reflect on the Omer journey.

            This day encourages us to sit, to be still and feel the vibrations of these past weeks in our hearts and souls.

            It is a day to acknowledge those who have been our companions and guides and give thanks for the wisdom and guidance we have received.

            It is a day to reflect on the passage of time and be attentive to what we do with this precious and fleeting gift.

            Lag b’Omer  calls us to bow in appreciation, honoring the generosity of earth and all creation.

            On the 33rd day, may we take the opportunity to notice the presence of the Mystery within all.

            May we engage in something that brings joy and honors the preciousness of time.

            And as we turn from this day and continue on our travels may we hear the Mystery call:
 

Take notice I send angels before you,
To guard you on your way and bring you to the place I have prepared. (Exodus 23:20)
