Standing at the foot of a mountain filled with flame,
We listened to the One reverberate in our hearts.
And the people did journey.
They journeyed across the sea.
But first they journeyed into themselves.
We step into the dark to arrive to a new day.
May we take each other’s hands
And let the bonds of relationship and commitment
Guide our way.
Sometimes our speech flows easily and our words carry clarity and insight. Other times there are no phrases that can offer comfort or understanding and we stand mute in the face of all that transpires.
